This post is dedicated to Uncle Bob…he was the first to call to complain that they blog has not been updated in a while (I knew it would be him or Auntie Annette). Not a whole lot of new pictures lately. I really did not take too many while we were in the U.P. We really didn’t do anything too exciting. We did celebrate Uncle Justin’s birthday with an ice cream cake from DQ and went swimming (at a hotel). 
On Friday night after dinner, we went shopping for some birthday gifts. While we were shopping, Megan picked out a Barbie swimming pool to spend her Christmas gift card on (thanks Jan :)). She had been wanting a remote control Furr Real pet (I think Mike and I talked her out of it…she really doesn’t play with toys a whole lot so we didn’t want her to waste her hard earned $50.00 on a toy to not really play with…now she has a surplus of money).
On Saturday morning before a birthday party, we took Megan to paint pottery. She had this in her mind for a while that we would do this while the twins were at grandma and grandpa’s house. Megan painted a little “peace” box. Mike painted a coffee mug.
After the party, we headed to downtown Detroit to have pizza at Pizza Papalis for some deep dish pizza and took a walk to the outdoor ice rink. We also found Mike’s Superbowl hat for a great deal.
On Sunday, we hung around the house and went to see Gnomeo and Juliet (it was a cute movie).
The twins are doing good at Grandma and Grandpa’s house except that they all have bad colds. I don’t think they are missing us at all.

Just so you know I have checked for an update multiple times a day for the past week, here it is on Monday night at 11:14 pm (WI time)and finally an update! Thank you too Uncle Bob for commenting...I usually feel lonely in this department. I think we need a pic of Mike's completed coffee mug though! Good choice on the purchase Megan, looks like fun (you will especially enjoy it this summer I bet!)
The items won't be ready for pick-up until Saturday. Will post a picture next week.

You mentioned that Annalyse and Meredith are not missing you at all. Maybe you should dedicate a post to them..."What we miss and don't miss about Annalyse and Meredith being UP North." For example Momma doesn't miss fighting with them every morning to wear something besides a dress but she does miss their Goodnight Kisses. Jsut a thought...
