On Saturday we went to Morley Chocolate Shop for their Fall Festival. It is usually pretty busy but we were about one of three families there, it was nice. They take pictures (I will scan it and post it separately), have face painting, and balloon animals. Megan got a butterfly painted on her face, Meredith got a small dog on her face, and Annalyse got a dog on her hand.
Sunday, we (well, everyone but ME) got dressed in Packer clothes and headed to Yates Cider Mill. It was a BEAUTIFUL fall day (72 degrees)! They have a beautiful nature trail to walk along. They girls enjoyed having their pictures taken, they kept saying “take my picture here.” We finished by having cider and donuts for lunch.
When we got home, the girls spent the afternoon playing outside, the twins traded their nap for playing (it was such a nice day). They made ladybug stew, we have been infested with them.
I meant to do a mid-week post but I never got around to it. We took some pictures by the fall leaves on Tuesday night. We had a really great week of weather. Fall is beginning to set in and getting cooler.
On Wednesday night, we had make your own pizza night (Megan had been wanting to do it again for quite some time). We used bagel thins and definitely did not work as good as English Muffins (they came quite crispy – a little too crispy for the twins).
Friday after school, the girls were dressing up and playing gymnastics and asked me to take their pictures.
Saturday we went to the Detroit Zoo with Uncle Bob. We figured out it must be our 6th year of going to the Zoo Boo. It was a beautiful evening. Everyone had a great time! The girls are ready to go Trick or Treating again. At one of the treat stations they were giving out pop, Meredith would not let the lady give her any, there was no way that a can of pop was going in her treat bag.
Grandma made the treat bags last weekend at the last minute and I added the fringe and the names.
Isn’t this the cutest costume! A box of popcorn! The baby was in a baby front pack. I didn’t get a real good picture but the baby was wearing a light yellow hat with popcorn hot glued to it.
Waiting for the Zoo Boo Revue it begin. It was the same show as in the past but they had new costumes.
