We spent the evening tonight carving our pumpkins. Megan had a blast and Annalyse and Meredith were intrigued for about 10 minutes. The twins didn't mind playing with the scoops but one quick touch of the "guts" was enough for them.
We had a nice weekend, the weather could have been a little better but we had good company. My parents and my sister came for a visit this weekend. On Saturday, Megan went and listened to stories at the "Old Stone School" by our house. The kids were supposed to dress up as their favorite superhero or storybook character so Megan dressed up as "Fancy Nancy," she looked pretty cute!:) Then we were off to take some fall pictures, they turned out pretty well, always intresting to get the three kids looking good. Saturday night we went to dinner and then to the "Zoo Boo." The Zoo Boo is always a fun time looking at all the kids in costumes and seeing the "pumpkin animals." Sunday we layed back and played in the leaves and took some pictures of the girls in their Halloween costumes, as the actual day turns out to be quite hectic. Thanks for a great weekend! We had a great weekend and the girls enjoyed spending time with you - Grammy, Papa, and Auntie Annette!
Photos courtesy of Mike. Wasn't it nice of Mike to buy me the Photoshop program for my birthday so that HE could photoshop photos for me! What a nice husband! I would say something else but he doesn't like the comment so I will have to hold back so that he will do more photos for me!
It was a nice weekend here in Detroit, a little chilly but nice and sunny. On Saturday, we went to visit Uncle Bob in Ann Arbor. A few months ago, he let Megan borrow a cd of children's nature songs. Megan (and Mike and I we must admit) has gotten quite fond of the music and knows most of the songs by heart. The singer Joe Reilly was having a concert at Uncle Bob's work Saturday afternoon, so went there for a fun time. It was a beautiful fall day. Megan enjoyed herself, she stood up with the other kids and sang and danced the whole time. The twins also enjoyed themselves, they ate pretzels and animal crackers through the whole entire thing - at least it kept them entertained. Today, we did some projects around the house and took out the Halloween decorations. We tried to get some fall pictures of the girls as well.
