Nice Weather

Here are some pictures of the girls. It seems like a long time since we posted some pictures. Not much new in the Voakes household, just staying quite busy. Megan is still loving school, although she is disappointed that she doesn't get homework, she says "I guess this is the kind of place that doesn't give homework." The twins have been as busy as ever. Meredith is becoming a better climber everyday, she mastered getting on the couch today all by herself. Meredith also insists on doing the top buckle in her car seat all by herself, she would be a "me do it" if she would talk. She has also mastered doing a sommersault all by herself, maybe she will be the next Nastia Lukion or Shawn Johnson. Annalyse is a very happy, even tempered toddler (well, she will be a toddler in a few weeks). She trys to copy Meredith on her climbing but usually is not as successful as her little sister. The twins are still not talking, they are good at communciating and getting their points across but there are not too many real words. I know Megan was a very advanced talker (and hasn't stopped talking to date) but it was amazing at how much she was saying at this age.
The weather this past week has been great but the weatherman says this coming week will be much cooler. It was actually hot this week. (It was nice in school, I have the maintance man's son in my room this year so he made sure that my air was working.)

School Time!

It is that time of year, everybody going back to school, which included Megan this year. She started Preschool last week and she really enjoys it. She didn't have any problems on the first day with us leaving her, I guess she is use to it, because she was use to getting dropped off at daycare. The other person going back to school is Alison, poor Alison had to go back to work. Actually she really is busy this year. She seems to be working on school stuff every night for the past three weeks and continues to work on it. She said, that is what happens when you don't do anything for a year or two. I haven't seen here this busy with school stuff for a long time. I know some of you are saying, "yah right, teachers work hard" (hey Uncle Ronnie), but it is true some do.

Nothing else is going on right now, but this weekend our neighbor is having his annual salmon bake. His dad commercially fishes salmon in Alaska for a couple of weeks a year in May/June. So he brings a bunch back and they (neighbor and his dad) grill it up. Should be fun. Sunday, we are still deciding if we want to go on a date to the Packer/Lion game in Detroit. Currently they have about 4,000 tickets left, if they are not sold out by Friday, then there will be a black out on TV and no one gets to see the game, except for the people going. Should be a good game to go to, if you are a Packer fan, oh wait we are packer fans.
