On Saturday we went to Port Huron to watch the boats take off for the Port Huron to Mackinaw Yacht races. Then we came home took naps, all five of us, and then headed to the zoo for the Members Only event.
On the way back home on Tuesday, we stopped at St. Ignace to go swimming in Lake Michigan.
Then on Thursday, we went to Port Huron to go swimming in Lake Huron to cool off. It was our 3rd Great Lake in less than a week. The weather was nice but the beach was quite rocky. The black flies must have followed us back to Lower Michigan because they were quite pesty there.
The last weekend we were in the U.P. the temperatures really began to heat up. We spent a lot of time swimming to keep cool.
