We started out Father's Day kind of quiet, all three of the girls slept in kind of late. We then headed out to Blake's orchards to pick strawberries. I have to admit I was a little nervous bringing the twins, but everyone had a great time 9or so it seemed). My mom was going to tell me how to make freezer jam but I asked her if she was crazy and how many quarts she thought we were going to pick with the three kids. Well, it turned out that it was really easy picking. We are not sure how many quarts we picked because "down here" you pick by the pound. We picked about 10 lbs. We could have easily picked more. Megan did a good job of picking as did Annalyse, Meredith did a good job of picking the green ones. Annalyse took one bite and told me "gucky" and Meredith wouldn't even try them. The berries were very nice and big, I had trouble getting Mike out of the field (kind of like two other people I know, not to name names - John and Marie). We also got a free "tractor" ride, it was muddy by the field so to avoid cars getting stuck they drove people to the field.

After strawberry picking, we headed home to eat lunch and to change our clothes and then we headed out the door again, this time to Uncle Bob's. His work was hosting the "Zany Umbrella Circus." It was a good show with some juggling, jokes, and trapeeze acrobatics. The girls really enjoyed the show. The big kids enjoyed it also, could have had it a little cooler though. After the show, we had a behind the scene look at the "critters" and then dinner at Panera. After dinner we came home, with only a 45 minute nap teh twins were being a little "silly defiant."

Mike also opened a few small presents before we headed out for the day!
Happy Father's Day to a wonderful husband and dad!
