Finally, some pictures from the last few weeks! ----->Megan's soccer team has been doing good, she said it is because of her feather hair extensions - they haven't lost a game since she got them. She has also scored two goals since she got them ;). On Saturday, we also signed the twins up to play soccer in the fall, I think they are excited to play instead of watching. ----->Mike and the girls sent me flowers at work last Friday for Mother's Day. They also bought me a new purse and wallet (it was exactly what I wanted :) ----->The girls didn't have school on Wednesday because of teacher's meetings so I took the day of to spend with them. They decided they wanted to go to the farm instead of the zoo (maybe they have a little hooper in them). We went to the farm, to lunch, and then to the library. We were supposed to go see Mike at work but he had meetings come up so we couldn't go see him. ----->I had my art show at school on Thursday night. There was at least piece of work from each student from either art or tech to hang up, it took some time to mat everything and then hang it up, I had blisters from pulling the stick tack apart to hang up the pieces. It was a little disappointing with the turn-out from the families, not a whole lot of people came. The teachers made a lot of nice comments and also the principal let me know that it looked even better than the last few "real" art teachers (TAKE THAT ANNETTE!!!). Also, the kids have enjoyed seeing everything in the hall so I guess it was all worth it. ----->It was a GORGEOUS weekend here! On Friday, the girls were in the neighbor's pool from 4:15 - 8:30 with only a short dinner break and then they were back in there for most of the afternoon again today. The twins were tired on Saturday - they came to school with me in the morning to do a mile fitness walk sponsored by my school, they did great! I woke them up after a three hour nap, they probably would have slept a lot longer. They were more than ready for bed tonight also, the fresh air and swimming have been knocking them right out. ----->I only have 13 more wake ups UNTIL SCHOOL IS OUT FOR THE SUMMER (and 4 of those are half days and I am taking a day off to go on the twin's field trip) Don't be too jealous Mike! But really, I am not counting down the days! Yeah right!

Happy 5th Birthday Annalyse and Meredith!

Happy 5th Birthday Annalyse and Meredith. Cannot believe how fast the last five years have flown by. The girls were SOOOOO excited about their birthday today. They were excited to bring cupcakes to school (they even like cake AND frosting this year)! After school, they could not wait to open up their presents but we had to wait for Daddy and Megan. I wanted to take a picture of the two of them and they began posing away. They were very excited for their new Barbies - mermaids and fairies and Annalyse was overjoyed about her colored hair that she saw at Kohls a couple of weeks ago and wanted me to buy her for her birthday (she only reminded me maybe 17 times in the past few days), oh and by the way she kept it in her hair for about 4 minutes! After presents, it was off to Red Robin for the birthday dinner (the waitress was nice and brought one for Mike and gave it to Megan) and then baths to try the new Barbies out. I think they enjoyed the long awaited day!

Meeting Baby Abby

On Friday night, we went to meet our new friend Abigail, Cristy and Mark's new baby. Abby was born last Saturday, so she was just about a week old. Although there is no photographic evidence in this post, I did get to hold Abby. The three girls (and Mike) were in heaven holding her.
