On the way back home on Tuesday, we stopped at St. Ignace to go swimming in Lake Michigan.
Then on Thursday, we went to Port Huron to go swimming in Lake Huron to cool off. It was our 3rd Great Lake in less than a week. The weather was nice but the beach was quite rocky. The black flies must have followed us back to Lower Michigan because they were quite pesty there.
The last weekend we were in the U.P. the temperatures really began to heat up. We spent a lot of time swimming to keep cool.

Back to swimming, this time with the ducks… 
On the last Thursday of vacation, we met Auntie Annette and Uncle Justin at Bay Beach in Green Bay to go on some rides. The girls were into the Tilt-O-Whirl and Scrambler but still didn’t mind the kiddie rides.
Justin and I braved the Zippin Pippin (not a bad deal for only $1.00). It was probably a little tame for Justin, but for me it was just fine. It was okay but nothing I’d hurry back for. Next year it is Annette’s turn to ride.
Auntie Annette and Uncle Justin headed back to Houghton to spend the weekend with us.
No pictures, but last night my dad and I went to play BINGO with grandma last night and I won $100! WooHoo!
