Happy Mother’s Day Weekend

Happy Mother’s Day!  Spring has finally arrived, we had a beautiful weekend and got to spend plenty of time outside!

     

What We’ve Been Up To…

The tiny caterpillar that the twins got for their birthday, grew into big caterpillars and transformed into chrysalis.  We transferred them into their “butterfly house” yesterday and I assume by the end of the week or over the weekend we will have at least one butterfly. 

 

The soccer games have begun.  Megan’s team has made a big improvement from the first half of the season.  They are playing really good and are currently undefeated 1-0-2.  They won their first game on Saturday.  The girls were very excited.  Megan was in goal and made the game winning safe with about 30 seconds to go.  Everyone said they couldn’t believe that Megan saved it.  She was quite proud of herself!

Hopefully the weather is beginning to turn and get warmer with less rain.  Our flowering cherry tree is about to bloom so hopefully we can take some pictures with spring clothes on and not winter or rain gear!
