What We Have Been “Do”-ing

Someone got a new hair-do.  Megan and me went to get our hair cut today, since the beginning of summer I asked if she wanted her hair cut short and she said no way.  Yesterday she told me she wanted it short, I was very surprised – I think I was a little more nervous then she was today, I think I thought she was going to change her mind when it was too late, but so far she LOVES it!

Last week on Monday we went to the zoo for a little bit.  Megan talked me into going to the 3D/4D movie (I thought there actually was a height restriction that they twins were too short for but they lifted the restriction).  Well, the movie was interesting to say the least.  Mike, myself, and Megan actually already saw the movie in February when the twins were in the UP.  I am thinking the twins are not ready for 3D movies (may be why it said it may not be suitable for children under 5) – the animals really looked liked they were coming at us and it FREAKED the twins out, they were on my lap whining through the whole thing, then air blows at your face like the rhinos are blowing on you and you get squirted with water twice like rhinos peeing on you and mud flying at you.  During the movie, Megan also FREAKED out, after it was HER idea.  All I can say is good thing it is only like a 10 minute movie or we would have been walking out.

Last week the girls went back to day care so that I could work in my classroom setting up, making plans, doing copies, etc.  Unfortunately summer is coming to a close and it is time to go back to work.  They loved going to day care, I was a little worried that Annalyse would cry when we dropped her off but she was happy as a lark to be there.  Here are some pictures of my room:

Megan has been taking swim lessons last week and this week.  She is doing a great job and gaining a lot more confidence in the water.  The twins love to go and play on the bleachers. :)

Just Cute...

As I am sitting here at the computer listening to the twins wake up from their nap, I hear Annalyse say to Meredith..."wait until you get older like me." I didn't hear anything in the conversation but that... too funny, I guess she doesn't understand that six minutes really isn't that much older! :)
