October Fun

We had a busy Saturday. I started by going to a Mom-to-Mom, found a few good deals. Bought the twins a fall/spring jacket, was lucky to find two the same size (different colors). I also bought the girls some costumes to play dress-up in. I got Megan a mermaid-type (not Airel), Meredith Minnie Mouse and Annalyse JoJo.




Then Megan had a soccer game, only one game to go.

After Megan's soccer game, we came home ate lunch and then headed to Port Huron. Some friends of ours were staying at the KOA campground for Trick-or-Treat weekends. We went to visit them for the festivities. The girls had a great time trick-or-treating, Meredith refused to say trick-or-treat or thank you, she kept saying - "No - Anna say it." The girls got a TON of candy, we will probably recycle some of it on Halloween night! We then went back to their cabin for some dinner and crafts (thanks to Kathy) then took a walk around the campground. The big girls went through the haunted house - I stayed back with the twins (NO comments please mom, dad, or Annette!!). We then went on a "glo-stick" hayride. We had a great time and think we will stay the weekend next week - our friends already reserved the BIG lodge so we should all be able to fit in there. The twins loved trick-or-treating and were ready to go again today, Megan too - but she understands we don't go everyday.













Sunday morning we went to the New Baltimore Fire Det. pancake breakfast. The kids were good, Meredith ate some pancakes and four "hot dogs." Anna ate pretty good and Megan was very happy to find out there was chocolate chip pancakes!

Soccer Saturdays

Soocer

Megan started her soccer games on Thursday night. She had one on Thursday night and one Saturday morning. She did really well, especially on Thursday. She was a lot more aggressive on Thursday night than on Saturday. You will be able to tell what pictures are from which day, she had a little biking accident on Friday night and her face is pretty scrapped up. (She had soccer pictures Saturday morning :)- at least the first day of school pictures were done and school pictures are not for another few weeks and surprisingly they do do soccer pictures retakes - we may be doing those.) Saturday she also got a chance to be the goalie for a quarter. She did a really good job (although she did let one go in, she made a few really good stops).








Megan is quite exhausted today from her week at school and soccer. I am quite exhausted myself. The twins are going good, it seems they are talking more and more each day.



We also got a chance to go visit with Uncle Jerry on Saturday night, I think he enjoyed seeing the kids. Meredith had fun attacking him with a dog toy and he enjoyed scarring her back.

First Day of School

The verdict is in....Megan LOVED it! I think her very own locker is TOP on her list, although she is excited to eat breakfast in my classroom tomorrow. We are working on her not calling some of my teacher friends by their first names :)
